about the webmaster
Nyarlathotep differs from the other beings in a number of ways. Most of them are exiled to stars, like Yog-Sothoth and Hastur, or sleeping and dreaming like Cthulhu; Nyarlathotep, however, is active and frequently walks the Earth in the guise of a human being, usually a tall, slim, joyous man. [...] Most of the gods use strange alien languages, but Nyarlathotep uses human languages and can be mistaken for a human being.
I'm Nyarlathotep! Or Nyar for short. 26, they/he, and kind of obsessed with Lucemon Falldown Mode. I'm also Canadian and based out of the Toronto-ish area -- if you've attended any J-core raves or Wacca competitions in the area, you've probably even seen me around (scary!).
I'm just some guy around on the interwebs for better or for worse. I'm very much into rhythm games (mostly Wacca, SDVX, and Project Diva), though somehow I'm still not any good at them after 10 years. I also enjoy working with computers, mostly in regards to hardware and system administration. I'm also somehow a Linux user of 12+ years, though these days I mostly stick to server usage with it.

Random fun facts about me:
- My favourite musical artist is USAO! My second fav, as well as fav overall vocalsynth producer, is ちゃぁ
- My current [2026-01-18] Wacca rating is 2127, and my favourite chart right now is Battle No. 1 (13+)
- I developed an overuse of "..." through exposure to hundreds of hours to Ryukishi07's writing
- I hope to one day be able to attend MEGATON KICK!
I am also a bit of a Lucemon enthusiast. Just a bit. Just a tiny little bit. If Lucemon has a million fans, I'm one of them. If Lucemon has 5 fans, I'm one of them. If Lucemon has 1 fan, that one is me. If Lucemon has no fans, I'm no longer alive. If the world is against Lucemon, I'm against the entire world. Til my last breath, I'll support Lucemon.
things I enjoy
Interests:
I have pages for some of the things that interest me the most, but here's a brief list regardless:
- VR! I have FBT (Slimes) and mostly just chill in VRC
- Console modding: I WILL install CFW on anything I can touch
- Rhythm games: I mostly play Wacca, Sound Voltex, and also currently Chunithm
- Vocalsynth music: I've been into this since like, 2011? See here for me rambling on and on about it!
- HARDCORE TANO*C: I am a full time USAO devotee, but I also quite enjoy t+pz, Srav3R, and aran, among others
- When They Cry: Umineko singlehandedly changed the way I view and process any media forever. I still hold on to hope that we'll get chapter 2 of Ciconia one day...
- Digimon! Digimon Story: Cyber Sleuth is the best 6/10 JRPG I have ever played, and you should totally try it too. And If you somehow missed it before, I also really, really like Lucemon Falldown Mode
